Led a team that evolved anonymous posting in Facebook Groups into an identity strategy for Facebook, shipping anonymous comments and nicknames.
Designed the first AI moderation tool for Facebook Groups, convincing admins to hand their busywork to the machine.
Led a comprehensive sprint to overhaul the long-term strategy for Facebook Groups, leading to new teams, new bets, and a new roadmap.
Brought chat to Facebook Groups, leading the design across Facebook and Messenger and growing it to 100M+ people.
Led the design of ML-based tools for enterprise speech recognition (speech-to-text) and voice generation (text-to-speech).
Established the curriculum and design standards for Microsoft’s first AR/VR partner certification initiative, leading live, week-long workshops for more than 120 partner companies.
Designed voice-enabled hardware products (speakers, wearables), in collaboration with the Surface Design team. Also shipped Cortana Developer Tools, a conversational AI platform for third parties.
Shipped the camera experience in Windows Phone 8.1. Also worked directly with Microsoft’s largest partners on migrating their apps, including Facebook, Instagram, Spotify, Twitter, Pandora, Pinterest, and Sonos.
